North Madras Matter

Normal things were happening abnormally, until last week when something normal to me was so abnormal to everybody. Went home after office on monday. BH says her grani is sick……..me goes ok…she goes……NO she is really sick…me goes ok should we leave. She says yes. That started my trip to my native place…….the last time I was there was when my uncle passed away. Rush to Koyambedu – CMBT……the Vegetable and flower market……that place always reminds me of my days with kuldip singh. Take a bus to madurai -à take a another bus from madurai to sankarankovil….and take the car from there to go to my inlaw’s village which is jus next to my native place. The place has not changed a bit xcept for better roads from no roads and a lot of suzlon wind turbines….that was a happy sight. Later got to know that my place lies on the path of the heavy winds flowing through the sengottai pass. The grani was in dead bed. People in villages let the Old die. Everybody was waiting for her to pop. Me went to my village exchange pleasantries with every villager (it a small hamlet--- everybody knows each other). Drove to coutrallam had a sip and went to thenni the next day. That was one tiring ride in a barebone bus. Was planning to return the next day to Chennai, when somebody call up and said that the grani has popped. There was a huge commotion. Drove to the village in the early morning, finished all the rites and rituals of the village, drove back to madurai for BH’s viva(i kinda like to drive in the south - less traffic, sepentine roads and always a mountain in u r view). Finished the business, drove back to thenni from madurai – could see the beautiful lights of kodai from andipatti – greats roads – No wonder this being Ammas Constituency. The next day went to bodi……this place is on the foothills of the Wghats some 60 km from munnar. Came back to madurai and boarded the train to Chennai. Back to the factory.

its rained y'day in madras........... and i loved every bit of it...........i wish i can have my Whisky with soda though. Hmmmmmmmmm letz see .......it should happen when it rains again.... a bottle of australian whisky is lying idle for want of drunkards @ jey's place for 2 months now......Xavi had got it when he came back from down under........... Times have changed.

Oh shit.........it was on may 09th i wrote something on my bolg What has happened since then Friday. Did a bye bye to all my bangalore office colleagues Packed all my thing from the apt and dumped it in the car Picked up Pras @ went to legends of rock with his friend Joe. Got drunk. Knocked a closed wine shop and almost lost conciseness Drank @ Joe's place. Small cute and neat place hez got. Went back to my place. Joe pucked in my room. Oh man the place was flooded. didn’t have fire service number. Saturday Went on to visit some apt near whitefield - Pras wants to invest in bang. Met her sister. Did some shoping @ marathali.it was hot. went back to koramangala and had lots of beer in the wine shop. Drove to joe's place picked him up and went to militarty mallu uncle's house. Got 5 bacardis, 3 s'offs, and 100 pipers all for 3000/- for the bachelor party on sunday. droped joe. Picked up Deba from banshankari - met his friends amit - the newly married guy. ate something @ tamarind. called up rama. Went to Indi joe. went to TGI to meet rama. had some beer Flat tyre. called up prasana. it was almost midnight Ate @ imperial. suggested to fix the trye - stepny drove to bomanahalli, got the trye fixed. Deba wanted to start to madras @ 1 am. I tought i need some rest. went home tried to sleep.- but in vain. washed my face- drove to mg road to fill gas. started to madras @ 3.15 am. WooooooooooW tried to survive the night. deba was trying keep me awake. pras was sleepin in the backseat. Sunday reached chitoor @ 5.30. pras woke up and offered to drive. i went to backseat and tried to sleep. reached madras @ 8.30 droped pras @ vadapalani deba @ annanagar. went home and crashed. got up called every body to confirm things. did lots of logistics for the bacehlor party @ Saaral a North Madras Farm house. drinks were judiscially smugguled from the car to Saaral. food was arranged by safi and nitya. the party was fun - Went on till 2 am. Shakthi and ashok passed out. had a though time carryin both into palani's car. Monday Woke up early. Rushed to the new office. met the hr. did the same thing for the next three day. took bro for shopping, went to distil - bro got drunk and gave me a lot of gayan. Got assinged to a project on wed and left for dindugal on thrs (To get married) - met viswa, ben and giri in the train, they were going to kodai spend a day there and then come to dindugal to attend the marriage. Dindugal was hot. Suresh,his wife, Siva and Shankar called up on friday afternoon to inform that they are driving down from kodai(they had started on Wed morning), Went to bus stand to see off suresh's wife - she had some conferance to attend. took the gang to bar. Deba and pras were drinking @ Carlton @ the same time - got SMS. Satarday. ppl started pouring in. Rama called up. he was visiting Madurai Meenakshi temple enroute to marriage. he landed @ 8 pm engagement happended. Had a big messup with the hotel rooms. got up early next morning. GOT MARRIED. drove to theni. stayed there for three days - BLISS - Parental advisory - explicit Content has been ommited. Came back to madras on thrs. hosted a reception on friday @ ashok. had a tough time explaning how to go to anna university from North Madras to the better half.(she had some seminar there) woooooooooooooooo thatz it for now.
